Lots of Visiting and Fall Foliage

Oct 10 to 14 2022 - We spent a few days with Mom before our trip to NJ/NYC. It was beautiful fall weather and we enjoyed an afternoon on the Copeland golf course with Dave Puterbaugh.

we had the course all to ourselves

Mom loved it

Oct 14 to 16, 2022 - It was a beautiful drive across Pennsylvania to visit Meg & Maddy.  We had a great weekend with them.  Saturday we visited the Smell Museum, in Chinatown, that I had read about in the Smithsonian Magazine (there wasn't much to it but it was fun to check it out).  Here's a link to the article:

Then a few beers and corn hole at the brewery, That Witch Ales You.  Next an Uber ride to Brooklyn Flea and a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge back to Manhattan.  Games and dinner at home (Maddy made a yummy stew!) finished off a perfect day.

Oct 16 to 19, 2022 - After lunch with Meg & Maddy, we drove the 1.5 hours to Lake Wallkill to spend a few days with Janet & Bob.  Janet had lots planned for us...apple picking, pickleball, an evening at their spa, games, walks, a trip to our section of the AT, and LOTS of good food!

Oct 19 to 22, 2022 - Next stop is 3 days in Cape May.  It was nice to be there in the off season.  We shopped, visited the lighthouse and walked along the beach.

On the way to Cape May, we drove through Westfield and picked up our favorite sub at Hershey's (the Trinidad) and had lunch in Tamaques Park.

Oct 22, 2022 - Today is Brendan and Carly's wedding.  It's a 2 hour drive to red bank, we stopped and got changed at the hotel then headed to Red Bank for the wedding and reception.

Yes we do!!

We ran into the Tschaens before the wedding.

Oct 23 to 25, 2022 - We got up early for our 5.5 hour drive to Pittsburgh.  About two hours in we realized we left our wedding clothes in the closet!  Luckily Tschaens said they would pick them up and keep them until our next trip east.  We've left stuff everywhere we've stopped.  Guess we need to be traveling in Tiny!  We will spend two days visiting with Marialisa, exploring her new town and on Tuesday we will meet up with Ellen for a walk around her hometown of Sewickley and lunch, before our 6 hour drive home.  Whew it's been a whirlwind, with lots of people to visit!  Such a great time!
