Aug 8, 2017 - We've got visitors! Emily and Mom came to see our new place and we did some fun Indy things...the Indiana State Fair, kayaking the White River, and an afternoon in Carmel

An Afternoon Indian’s game
Or a pre-season Colts game. The stadium even had bike racks out front
The roof is open today!
Nice view of the city through the open wall
Aug 18, 2017 - I woke up this morning and went downstairs to see what Kev was up to and couldn’t understand why the first floor bedroom door was closed. So I opened it and found Meg there! She had flown in last night and Kev picked her up from the airport while I was sleeping! What a nice surprise!
We played some pickleball
Went to Carmel
And rode our bikes to the big lug for beers
Saturday morning I was sitting on the couch and heard someone coming down the stairs…it was Elaine! She flew in last night and Kev picked her up without me knowing. What a double nice surprise!
We took our bikes downtown and rode around the cultural trail and along the canal
A pic in front of the fountain in the circle

We hung the noodles from hangers in the laundry room!
Sooooooo goooooood
September 12, 2017 - while visiting Mom we spent the afternoon at Stan Hywet in Akron. Stan Hywet (which means stone quarry in old English) was the home of Sieberling who was the co-founder of Goodyear tire and rubber.
September 17, 2017 - We saw signs around Broad Ripple for the Tour de Coop. We love a bike ride so what better way to explore Indianapolis. There was a map to about 8 homes that had chicken coops in their backyards. It was fun to chat with them about their chickens!
