January in Indianapolis 2019

Jan 3 2019 - I had a nice birthday celebration.  Kev and I went to Fountain Square to check out the Duckpin Bowling and then we went to the Indianapolis Botanical Conservatory in Garfield Park.

A beer at the bar around the corner from Duckpin Bowling

I love this flooring at Duckpin Bowling (upstairs)

It's a quiet day at the bowling alley

Jan 5, 2019 - Meg's with us for a few weeks before she heads back to Berkeley to finish up graduate school.

Breakfast a Three Sisters...a pancake with a side pancake.  I think this is the first time Kevin wasn't able to finish an order of pancakes!  The waiter said that the pancakes were really big, but Kev said no, he could eat two!

Jan 20-22, 2019 - Maddy's coming for the weekend from NYC.  We were worried her flight would be canceled, because Indy has gotten a lot of snow, but luckily she made it!  We're going to do some Indy sightseeing with a trip to the Indy Art Museum and we'll go Duckpin bowling.

Snacks and bowling

Maddy knows what she's doing!

Meg does too!

The downstairs of duckpin bowling is decorated in a different era than upstairs
