Bob/Dad

Aug 11, 2024 - This blog post is going to be especially hard.  Kev's Dad passed away today.  Since we retired 7.5 years ago, he was the one that encouraged us to travel as much as we could.  And he was always interested in hearing the details about our latest adventure.  We started this blog three years ago, so that Bob could follow our trip across the country as it was happening and he read every blog post we wrote after that, multiple times.  We enjoyed spending time with him in the country and any time we could we were on the river trying to catch the most fish or biggest fish for bragging rights.  We're really going to miss him, but we appreciate the fun times we were able to spend together.

The Bourbeuse River with Elaine, Meg and Casey

It was a hot day on the river

We were so happy the girls could be here for the weekend

Catching up on the porch.

It was hard to go out on the river, but glad the girls could see this special place
