Aug 29, 2024 - Today we're headed to Nova Scotia. It's a big drive day (5 hours) so we got an early start. We are staying 2 nights at a private campground in Havre Boucher.
A cloudy, overcast morning at our campsite at Red Point Provincial Park
Kev's packing us up for the drive
We've passed this field of lavender several times and I haven't been able to get a good pic and I STILL wasn't able to.
All over PEI there are small New Potato stands
Take a left to get on the Confederation Bridge
It was $52 to get back to mainland Canada on the 8 mile bridge
There's a lighthouse in the distance
And here it is up close
We made it to our campsites at Hyclass Ocean Campground
Aug 30, 2024 - Kev and I went for an early morning walk and ran into Uncle Gene and Mirabelle. We don't have much planned for the day, but will drive 30 minutes to the town of Guysborough to a distillery and will check out the Guysborough harbor.
We know you!
The campground has a beautiful view of the Linwood Harbor which is part of St George's Bay.
It's like a lake out there today
This woman was headed to the swimming dock
Cleaning the solar panels
Mirabelle the jumping dog!
Kevin decided he needed to head out to the swimming dock
almost there
he made it and is headed back
Authentic Seacoast Distillery and Brewery
That's a big bench
