Friday June 3, 2022 - We drove 5 hours from Onoway, Alberta to Dawson Creek, British Columbia. This is Mile 0 of the world famous Alaska Highway. We decided to stay at a campground in town to fill/dump our tanks and hook up to some electric for the night.
Gotta get a pic of Tiny in front of the Mile 0 sign
of course we over did it with the pics at Mile 0
This is a monument to the surveyors that made the Alaska Highway possible

Mirabelle's favorite spot
Saturday June 4, 2022 - We decided to take a short day of driving today, and only did 3 hours to Buckinghorse Provincial Park. This was only a km off the highway, on a river. There were only 15 spots (no services) and it was only half full. The provincial parks are only $16/night, quite the bargain. The drive was beautiful, we saw a coyote, a few bears and a dead moose along the highway. We're not the only ones on the highway, but there aren't many!
breakfast with the Diullos
We decided to all ride together to the Bear Mountain Wind Park above Dawson Creek. Mirabelle had trouble getting comfortable in our Tiny RV
We drove 45 minutes up a "well maintained gravel road". Let's just say the road was not that well maintained

Mirabelle finally found a comfortable spot
We spent about an hour in Pioneer Village in Dawson Creek, it was a fun spot to wander around.
and was a beautiful day
Trapper's cabin had been moved here, as had many of the buildings and each building was full of interesting old stuff that looked like people had donated after cleaning out their attics.
There was a building dedicated to the Alaska Highway with lots of interesting details. The highway was built during WW II to provide a throughway to Alaska
Moose crossing signs everywhere, but no moose yet
